We have a growing team of dynamic and enthusiastic individuals at all levels, from graduate to senior experts. Quantum Experts & Consultants

Chartered Quantity Surveyors

This role will entail:

  • Forensic quantity surveying analysis
  • Support to leading quantum experts involved in international arbitration and litigation
  • Central London location

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying
  • MRICS qualified, or equivalent
  • MSc in Construction Law - preferred, not essential
  • Experience working for either contractors or professional quantity surveying firms
  • Deep industry expertise, such as power, energy, process, civil, building or mechanical and electrical
  • Energetic, pro-active and professional with a good understanding of commercial management
  • An interest in construction law and a desire to develop (sponsorship opportunity available)
  • Excellent analytical skills, an attention to detail and clear report writing
  • Eligibility to live and work in England with fluent written and spoken English

Graduate Consultant

This role will entail:

  • London based work;
  • Support to the team providing planning and programming expert witness services;
  • Retrospective / forensic analysis of the projects;
  • Introduction to working as a construction consultant.

The successful candidates should expect to:

  • Receive introductory training while working on a project;
  • Work on large projects (oil & gas, highways, power plants, international skyscrapers, airports, data centres, etc.) around the world (Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa);
  • Work on analysis of the project from A to Z, from tender to delivery;
  • Gain knowledge on the construction of civil and mechanical engineering projects;
  • Quickly accumulate a lot of knowledge, a multi-year project being analysed in a few months;
  • Be in contact with all project stakeholders (owner, developer, contractor, design) and the legal team handling the case.

Relevant skills:

  • Energetic, pro-active and professional;
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • An interest in construction law and a desire to develop;
  • An interest in project management tools (Primavera, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, etc.) will be an asset;
  • Right to work in the UK;
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a great rigor, precision, and will be able to handle large amounts of documents.
