  • High-tech Data Centre

    Integrated expert team determines critical delays on high-tech data centre.

    Integrated programming, delay and IT expert services for an adjudication arising on a US$105m data centre in a European city to support 22MW of critical IT load. The 11,000m2 facility includes 5,200m2 of Tier III technical data centre space split into six self-contained data halls, each with dedicated power and cooling systems. Determined methodology for analysing causes of critical delay, appropriate baseline programme for measuring critical delay, and determined critical path for each project phase.

  • Central Asian Skyscraper Complex

    Baseline programme investigated for Central Asian skyscraper complex.

    Instructed to provide delay and quantum expert opinion for an ICC arbitration case relating to a prestigious, US$1.3bn mixed-use skyscraper complex in the heart of a capital city in Central Asia. The proposed architectural landmark comprises a residential tower, a commercial tower with retail and entertainment facilities, and a 7-star hotel located offshore on a man-made island. Investigated baseline programme and ascertained reasons for construction delays and why works were not further progressed at date of termination.

  • Mixed-use Skyscraper

    Lengthy mixed-use skyscraper progress leads to works termination.

    Appointed as programming and quantum expert to investigate delays to the construction of a 235m, three-tower complex in the United Arab Emirates. The fully integrated, mixed-use development featured three connected towers incorporating commercial office space, residential apartments, high-end retail outlets, sky gardens and a five-star hotel. Slow progress to the works resulted in contract termination. Considerations included analysis of delays to each of the contractual milestones and incurred costs.

  • University District Development

    Minimising project risks on ambitious UK university development scheme.

    Engaged by the University of Cambridge to provide independent project advisory services for the first phase of North West Cambridge Development, a new US$1.3bn sustainable urban development of homes, shops and schools on the city’s outlying farmland to alleviate overcrowding and rising land prices. Scope included independent technical and strategic project management advice, and project progress monitoring to assist the University’s management team in minimising key project risks for the delivery of major infrastructure and common facilities.
